Projects 101

Some things do finally get done around here.....

So, Ben is great at coaching, cooking, landscaping, working hard and many other things....however, mechanical and woodworking items are NOT his forte.

Regarding mechanical - we are just waiting for my truck to die before I get a new one (almost 200,000 miles!!!!) keep on truckin'!

Regarding woodworking....I was really nervous when Ben suggested he make cut-outs in our dry wall to make more space in our loft. Luckily, our handy neighbor down the street helped Ben with this LONG project. It is finally done!!!

Logan loved hammering out the dry wall...did I mention how filthy this made the WHOLE house? Here is the project in one of the first phases....

Finally done - not exactly filled with anything yet - but you get the idea!

I have been moving our office out of our spare bedroom so that Beau can finally be out of our closet and into his very OWN room! So, here is the loft converted into the office/play area....

And here is Beau's new room - not quite done - I am still going to paint vertical stripes - I will take a picture when it is REALLY done...

And just in time....baby #5 is coming.....will it live in Beau's blue room?

Or Emma's pink room?

Who Knows?
