What Would You Do for A Snickers Bar?
Joshua had the biggest grin for several hours after being presented his King Size Snickers Bar in Primary this past Sunday. He and Logan both memorized all 13 Articles of Faith and passed them off to the Primary President. They then got these books where they were asked to write in their own words what each Article of Faith meant. Joshua just finished his and was awarded his favorite candy bar by the Bishop in primary on Sunday. He had Joshua stand up and explain in his own words the first 3 articles of faith. Afterwards, Joshua told me he was so happy the bishop didn't ask him to explain all of them on the spot. He was sure he could get through #9 - but was worried about how to explain #10. Anyways, every bite of that Snickers bar was earned and savored! Logan is busy working on his booklet - we will get a picture of Logan with his favorite candy bar soon. I am thinking I need to get some candy bars around my home to motivate these kids to work.....
