I'm NOT Doing It, And You Can't Make Me"

Really?...

So, at the end of the school year there is a Poetry Writing and Recitation contest at Franklin Northeast school.

All three kids entered the contests....

So, we practice at home....

The night before the judging....this is what I hear...

"I'm Not Doing it, and you can't make me."

Technically correct.

However, we signed up and we are going to do our best.  Right?

Logan had this cute poem called "Mr. Nobody".  Logan has the best facial expressions and voice inflection.  But, he really didn't want to do anything extra.  End of the school year - I get it.  But, I knew he could do a great job.

Logan is often called "A Gamer" by Ben and Joshua.

He likes to goof around at practice, be silly when others are serious.....

But when it comes to game time - you guessed it - he's a gamer. 

Results?

Logan got his first medal from Franklin NE for his "Mr. Nobody" recitation.

Joshua earned medals for both reciting poetry and writing poetry.

Two Days before school ended.....

WE FINISHED READING THE BOOK OF MORMON!

We try to read the whole thing every school year.  It was crunch time....BUT we did it!

Even Beau was excited!

We can't wait to start again....
